WELCOME
I created Wholehearted Therapies to offer truly holistic support—a space where somatic and talk therapy come together in a grounded, compassionate environment. I believe, wholeheartedly, that everyone deserves a place where they can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with themselves. A place where thoughts, emotions, and the wisdom of the body can be welcomed with openness, curiosity, and without judgment.
As humans, we are wired for connection. When we experience consistent safety and supportive relationships, healing and meaningful change become possible.
As a social worker, counsellor, massage therapist and yoga teacher, I support the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. I'm a relational therapist, my work is rooted in trauma-informed, compassionate, and strengths-based practice, ensuring that you remain in control of the process at every step. I work from an approach that honours the subtle ways stress and past hurt can shape a person’s rhythms, relationships, and daily life. I listen to the stories the body carries, the echoes of earlier experiences that continue to influence the present.
I believe deeply in the power of returning to the body. Through talking about sensations and emotions, through movement, breath, and yoga, we can access some of the most empowering tools for navigating trauma, stress, overwhelm, disconnection, and dis-ease. You are invited to reconnect with your body and breath, explore talk therapy, and guide your own healing at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from a range of interventions for counselling including Somatic approaches, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, IFS informed and EMDR—integrating whatever serves you best as we work together.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work, certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY-F), hatha vinyasa and prenatal yoga. I am also a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. My background has been supporting adults who have experienced a range of challenges - trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and stress.
I have worked in the community sector and private practice for 13 years as a social worker/counsellor and a yoga teacher for 7 years. In both capacities I have supported many along their journey.
I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
