B. Social Work, Accredited Social Worker, Yoga Teacher, Remedial Massage Therapist 


I started Wholehearted Therapies to be able to offer holistic support inclusive of somatic and talk therapy. I wholeheartedly believe everyone can benefit from having a safe space to create connection, be able to explore their thoughts, emotions and body in a non judgemental and open environment. 

As humans we are hardwired for connection, when we can experience ongoing safe and positive connection, change and healing can happen. 


As a social worker/counsellor and yoga teacher my approach is to support a person as a whole. I practice from a trauma-informed, compassion and strengths-based approach, where the people I support determine and remain in control of the process at all times. 

I believe that reconnection to the body through exploration of talking about the body and emotions, movement, breath and yoga can be some of the most empowering tools for people to manage trauma, stress, emotional overwhelm, disconnection and dis(ease). 

Individuals are invited to reconnect with body and breath, explore talk therapy and guide their own recovery at whatever pace feels right. 

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work, certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY-F), hatha vinyasa and prenatal yoga. I am also a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. My background has been supporting adults who have experienced a range of challenges - trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and stress. 

I have worked in the community sector and private practice for 10 years as a social worker/counsellor and a yoga teacher for 5 years. In both capacities I have  supported many along their journey. 

I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
