MASSAGE
Intuitive massage is a therapeutic process that encourages self-discovery and wellness. Intuitive massage sessions assist in reducing stress, releasing tension, shift blocked energy, improving overall wellbeing and experiencing deep relaxation.
Remedial massage is a holistic treatment that helps to restore the balance between muscles and the skeletal system to allow your body to function at its optimal level, with less discomfort.
Remedial massage enhances flexibility, relieves muscle tension, improves posture, and promotes overall well-being through targeted therapeutic techniques and personalised care.
Prenatal massage can ease some of the aches and pains of pregnancy and help you relax. It may also reduce swelling, improve mood, and help reduce anxiety and create a sense of calm and relaxation.

As a social worker/counsellor, remedial massage therapist and yoga teacher, my approach is to support a person as a whole. I practice from a trauma-informed, compassion and strengths-based approach, where the people I support determine and remain in control of the process at all times. I believe that reconnection to the body through exploration of talking about the body and emotions, movement, breath and yoga can be some of the most empowering tools for people to manage trauma, stress, emotional overwhelm, disconnection and dis(ease).

Counselling aims to foster a safe, warm and non-judgemental space for someone to explore what might be troubling them, what might help them to know themselves and where they might find meaning and connection in their lives.
Trauma sensitive yoga is an evidence based hatha yoga practice to support individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives.
The practice is developed to support individuals to (re)connect with their bodies and create a safe space.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps people process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It uses guided eye movements or gentle bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess difficult memories so they feel less overwhelming.
EMDR is commonly used to treat trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and can also help with anxiety, phobias, and other challenging life experiences.
